alternator repair

Anyone know a source of new internal parts to repair a modern alternator? Local source preferred but internet source is ok. Currently have a Delco CS121 that needs new volt reg & rectifier.

Are you looking to do this yourself or actually have someone rebuild it for you? I mean if it's only replacing the regulator and such, I bet it's something you could do yourself. I would bet you could either order the parts online, or one of the chains could provide you the parts readily. Just a thought. I don't know of anyone locally which rebuilds. I take it the price of a new (or refurb) is cost prohibitive. Let us know if you find out anything for rebuilders.

Try Arlington Armature / Springfield Radiator, one in the same building. They do it all. They are on Fullerton Rd in Springfield. I have my stuff done there and I don't see why they won't sell individual parts if you want to do it yourself.
